Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technology audits at client locations, providing valuable insights to elevate their operational capabilities.
- Design and implement impactful training sessions that equip clients with the practical knowledge necessary to optimize their manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify essential tools, resources, and training methodologies that facilitate the adoption of innovative technologies.
- Lead and support various projects, offering guidance and coaching at multiple organizational levels to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor industry trends and analyze technology gaps within Michigan’s manufacturing landscape to ensure clients remain at the forefront of advancements.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing domain.
- Proficient in core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and SPC, along with strong problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, A3).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to foster robust client relationships and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Technical proficiency in software applications such as Visio, 3D CAD/CAM, ERP systems, and the Microsoft Suite.
- Certification as a Lead Assessor in any Quality Management System (QMS) is required; Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Deep understanding of ISO quality management systems and a strong commitment to industry best practices.
- Passion for Industry 4.0 concepts and a dedication to staying updated on emerging trends and developments in manufacturing.
