Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement personalized, one-on-one behavior interventions.
- Provide direct therapy during individual sessions, applying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques as specified in each client's treatment plan.
- Accurately collect and document client progress data, adhering to BCBA guidance for meaningful data entry.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on client progress and ensuring a cohesive approach to their care.
- Attend and complete all required training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
- Achieve or maintain relevant credentials within the designated timeframe, with ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Deliver therapy within a comfortable in-home setting, allowing for hands-on interaction with children.
- Proficiency in implementing ABA techniques and delivering one-on-one therapy.
- Strong communication abilities to engage effectively with parents and team members.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and technology tools for accurate progress tracking.
- Excellent time management skills for timely completion of session notes and timesheets.
- Dependable attendance, ensuring a commitment to scheduled sessions and activities.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and demonstrate competence with technology.
- A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation are essential.
- Successful completion of state and federal background checks, along with child and adult abuse clearances.
- CPR certification is required, or willingness to obtain it.
