Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement tailored educational programs that accommodate the unique requirements of each student through engaging online platforms.
• Develop, execute, and uphold individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with regulatory stipulations, ensuring the academic success of all students.
• Collaborate closely with mainstream educators to guarantee that necessary accommodations and modifications are effectively implemented.
• Assess and document student progress meticulously, maintaining accurate and current records.
• Conduct virtual meetings with students’ families and school personnel to review progress, objectives, and strategies for improvement.
• Provide guidance and resources to parents/guardians to foster student success in a home learning environment.
• Participate in professional development initiatives and contribute actively to team discussions aimed at refining instructional methodologies and enhancing educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• A valid Ohio teaching license complemented by a Special Education endorsement.
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience in an educational setting.
