Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized instruction based on students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to promote academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow educators and parents to ensure comprehensive support for all students, offering expert advice on modifications, accommodations, and strategies for behavior management.
- Conduct regular assessments of student progress and make timely updates to IEPs to facilitate ongoing success.
- Design and implement innovative programs that address various learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and developmental delays. Conduct training sessions for staff and parents to enhance student outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Strong capability in developing and implementing tailored learning plans.
- In-depth knowledge of IEP development and modification techniques.
- Familiarity with various learning disabilities and behavioral issues.
- Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy tools for effective instruction.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
- Active Special Education teaching license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an educational setting.
- Experience in virtual instruction is preferred but not mandatory.
