Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement tailored individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student’s unique needs.
- Deliver engaging and effective virtual therapy sessions, closely monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment strategies as required.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a unified approach to support students’ communication development.
- Maintain meticulous records, ensuring confidentiality, and actively participate in team meetings to refine therapeutic strategies.
- Advocate for the needs of students while staying abreast of current practices and trends in the field of speech-language pathology.
- A Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- A valid teaching certification for the state of New Mexico.
- An active New Mexico SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP Certification.
- Proficient in using technology for virtual therapy; access to a fast, reliable computer and internet connection is essential.
