Position Summary

As a Student Services Coordinator, you will be instrumental in providing support to students in both remote and on-site settings. Your role will involve serving as an essential bridge between program activities and students, managing detailed records of student enrollment, and collaborating with community partners to fulfill program objectives. We are seeking a team-oriented professional with outstanding communication and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to students by addressing technical issues and guiding them throughout their educational journey.
  • Assist in student recruitment efforts and facilitate welcoming orientation activities for new participants.
  • Prepare and administer assessments while ensuring that all related paperwork is submitted punctually to administrative departments.
  • Actively promote and represent our programs within the target community, serving as a knowledgeable resource for program-related inquiries and activities.
  • Maintain meticulous and organized physical and digital student records, adhering to all regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with instructors, educators, and site personnel to cultivate a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Execute clerical tasks, manage supplies, track inventory, and ensure adherence to health department regulations pertaining to meal programs.

Required Skills

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation, organizational capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree or some college experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of related experience is preferred.

Travel Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer are required.

Work Environment

Though primarily office-based, occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions may occur.
