Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized educational instruction and support tailored to students with diverse learning requirements.
• Track and assess student progress, making necessary modifications to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.
• Design and execute customized IEPs that cater to the specific needs of each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support personnel to build a nurturing and effective learning atmosphere.
• Engage in virtual IEP meetings, advocating for optimal student outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
• Valid teaching certification in Vermont.
• Minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience, particularly in special education.
• Proficient in facilitating virtual meetings, especially using platforms such as Zoom.
• Strong technical capabilities and familiarity with online teaching tools.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
