Key Responsibilities
- Model and train team members in Positive Behavior Support methodologies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IDTs) to offer expert guidance on behavioral challenges.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate behavior plans, track client progress, and report outcomes.
- Perform behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, utilizing results to refine treatment strategies.
- Provide direct behavioral interventions in both individual and group settings, focusing on skill development and crisis management.
- Supervise restraint usage and provide training aimed at minimizing their necessity.
- Engage in essential committees such as the Behavior Intervention Committee and Human Rights Committee.
- Ensure services align with the needs of patients in specialized intermediate care clinics.
- Uphold policies and procedures to maintain excellence in patient care.
- Proficient computer skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately document data in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills for effective presentations in individual and group scenarios.
- Critical thinking and sound judgment capabilities for both routine and complex situations.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is mandatory.
- Prior experience in behavior management, data entry, and crisis intervention is preferred.
