Key Responsibilities
- Model and instruct staff on the principles of Positive Behavior Support.
- Contribute as an integral member of interdisciplinary teams (IDTs), offering insights into behavioral challenges.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop behavior plans, track progress, and provide comprehensive reports on outcomes.
- Perform behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, to inform treatment approaches.
- Deliver direct behavioral interventions in various contexts, including individual and group sessions, skill-building activities, and crisis management.
- Oversee restraint protocols and provide training aimed at minimizing their use.
- Participate in essential committees, including the Behavior Intervention Committee and Human Rights Committee.
- Ensure that services align with the needs of patients in specialized intermediate care settings.
- Uphold organizational policies and procedures to guarantee exemplary standards of care.
- Proficient computer skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately document data and present information effectively in both individual and group environments.
- Strong critical thinking capabilities and sound judgment in both routine and complex scenarios.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline.
- Valid Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in behavior management, data entry, and crisis intervention is preferred.
