Key Responsibilities
- Act as a reliable advisor to insured clients, facilitating claims processes and settlements.
- Perform thorough claim evaluations and assess the supervisory capabilities of prospective insureds.
- Ensure adequate reserves for potential excess losses are maintained.
- Provide specialized guidance on intricate transportation claims and other commercial liability matters.
- Collaborate closely with third-party administrators and internal claims departments.
- Employ advanced skills in litigation, negotiation, problem-solving, and mediation.
- Engage in travel as necessary for mediations, customer interactions, and seminars.
- Proven experience in managing complex, litigated transportation claims or similar commercial auto liability claims.
- Strong familiarity with working alongside third-party administrators and insured claims departments.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both spoken and written.
- In-depth understanding of injury evaluation and settlement protocols.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management, particularly in complex transportation claims or commercial auto liability.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
