Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with the claims departments of insured clients or third-party administrators.
- Navigate and oversee the claims process and settlement negotiations.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Evaluate and monitor the claims supervision capabilities of potential insured clients.
- Establish and implement case evaluations to assess claims viability.
- Confirm reserve adequacy on excess losses to mitigate financial risk.
- Develop and provide strategic high-level risk management and mitigation solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in managing intricate, litigated claims within the transportation sector or related commercial liability contexts (preferably in commercial auto).
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with third-party administrators or claims departments.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, problem-solving, and mediation acumen.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication competencies.
- In-depth knowledge of injury evaluation methodologies.
- Willingness to travel for mediations, client visits, and industry seminars.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management, focusing on transportation or commercial liability issues is preferred.
