Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Manager for our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership and clinical oversight to support individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental health challenges. You will play an essential part in fostering a culture of healing and recovery, guiding a team committed to delivering exceptional, evidence-based care across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the ACT team, ensuring appropriate staffing and compliance with the ACT model.
  • Conduct daily team meetings to align treatment activities and address participant needs effectively.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with law enforcement, community organizations, and service providers to enhance client support.
  • Deliver direct ACT interventions, ensuring client needs are met and goals are achieved.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of intake and progress documentation, maintaining effective Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
  • Ensure quality and compliance of clinical records with ACT standards.
  • Serve as the Qualified Practitioner, approving progress notes and service plans.
  • Provide after-hours support for staff supervision and crisis management.
  • Lead training and orientation for new team members to foster a culture of continuous development.

Qualifications

  • A Master's Degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LICSW or LCPC) in Washington, DC.
  • A minimum of 3-6 years of experience working with individuals facing chronic medical conditions or serious mental health disorders.
  • 2-4 years of experience in social services, crisis management, and case management.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience, with a preference for 4 years.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.
