Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership by guiding the formulation and execution of evidence-based clinical practices, policies, and procedures that elevate patient care.
- Collaborate closely with the clinical team to evaluate and diagnose patients, offering continued support and oversight for both residential and outpatient programs.
- Develop and track clinical key performance indicators, ensuring that clinical programs are responsive to community needs.
- Create and implement training initiatives for clinical staff, promoting professional growth and the ongoing refinement of clinical practices.
- Lead clinical family wellness initiatives, which include home visitations and family group sessions, to support the holistic well-being of participants.
- Guarantee that all clinical services comply with required accreditation, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, 42-CFR Part 2).
- Work in collaboration with senior leadership to devise and execute both short- and long-term clinical strategies that align with the organization’s objectives and community demands.
- Provide supervisory support during clinical crises, offering essential guidance to staff in urgent situations.
- Must hold a valid license in the State of Alaska as one of the following: Physician, Professional Counselor, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist, or Psychological Associate.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in patient care, coupled with considerable leadership experience in a clinical environment.
- Current CPR certification is mandatory, with proof to be submitted within 30 days of employment commencement.
- In-depth knowledge of addiction, substance use disorders, co-occurring psychiatric conditions, and associated medical issues. Familiarity with ASAM Criteria, diagnostic tools, and clinical pathways is essential.
- A commitment to professional development, including maintaining necessary continuing education credits for clinical licensure and supervision.
