Job Overview

We are in search of an accomplished Director of Sales with a robust background in multi-unit RV dealership management to spearhead our sales organization. This influential role is crucial in propelling revenue growth and enhancing the customer experience across all sales channels. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of RV sales, exemplary leadership abilities, and proficiency in the management of multiple sales locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the sales processes and expectations across all dealerships.
  • Collaborate with General Managers to strategize, execute, and organize the Sales Department's functions to meet performance standards, including budgetary targets for gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction.
  • Inspire and lead the RV sales team to achieve and surpass sales objectives through motivation and guidance.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, pricing, and merchandising.
  • Identify areas for improvement and craft sales plans to attain targets.
  • Establish quarterly and annual sales goals, encouraging teams to meet them.
  • Partner with finance and executive teams to devise budgets and financial strategies for sales initiatives.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure resource allocation maximizes return on investment.
  • Manage daily departmental operations in adherence to regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments and partners to drive overall business success.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of multi-unit experience in RV dealership management, sales, and CRM software.
  • Proven history of consistent sales growth within RV sales management.
  • Expertise in enterprise-level inventory management and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in sales and trend forecasting.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a dedication to excellence.
  • Ability to excel in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a focus on accountability.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment testing, including a background check and drug screening.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
