Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and Engage : Research and establish contact with potential corporate clients, identifying key decision-makers and developing tailored membership proposals.
  • Client Meetings and Presentations : Schedule and conduct professional sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of YMCA corporate memberships.
  • Pipeline Management : Maintain an active prospect pipeline, track leads, and consistently follow up to close deals.
  • Relationship Building : Develop and sustain long-term relationships with corporate clients to ensure membership retention and satisfaction.
  • Strategic Marketing Input : Recommend marketing strategies to target specific industries, regions, or demographics.
  • Industry Networking : Attend industry events, chamber meetings, and community gatherings to generate leads and establish meaningful business connections.
  • Reporting and Goal Achievement : Meet or exceed monthly revenue and membership targets, and submit detailed sales reports to management.
  • Professional Representation : The YMCA will be represented professionally, aligning with its mission and values, and promoting the organization’s positive image within the business community.

Qualifications

  • Education : Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of two years’ experience in outside sales, corporate client acquisition, or customer relationship management and / or significant sales training with certification.
  • Technical Proficiency : Comfortable using CRM systems and standard office software to track and report on sales activities.

  • Motivated Self-Starter : Ability to work independently while reporting to team leaders, prioritize tasks, and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding Communication : Exceptional oral and written communication skills for engaging with clients at all levels. Proactive in providing reports and updates to team leads and organizational leaders.
  • Relationship Focused : Skilled at building and maintaining positive, professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Goal-Oriented : Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Adaptability : Comfortable working in a self-driven, fast-paced, mission-driven environment with diverse stakeholders.
