Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and define seasonal trends, washes, fabrics, and fits.
- Spearhead the product development process, creating comprehensive presentation boards, sketches, tech packs, CAD line sheets, and managing sample orders.
- Research and identify key seasonal denim fabrics while developing pioneering wash treatments.
- Partner closely with sales and sourcing teams to ensure product alignment with market demands.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of competitor strategies and pricing to create market-relevant designs.
- Communicate effectively with overseas suppliers and sample rooms to facilitate the production of designs.
- Mentor and guide junior designers to ensure the successful completion of projects within established deadlines.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in denim design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong creative acumen and trend awareness, with the ability to translate insights into exceptional denim designs.
