Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the IT department, managing a dedicated team and systems.
- Formulate and implement IT strategies that cater to the organization's infrastructure requirements, including hardware, systems, security, and communications.
- Develop and execute business continuity plans to mitigate disruptions during emergencies or data loss.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to assess business and technological needs, optimizing technology utilization.
- Ensure the effective delivery and performance monitoring of IT services.
- Establish and uphold processes and standards for the selection, implementation, and support of IT systems.
- Assume responsibility for the ERP system and CRM tool, overseeing their architecture and implementation.
- Foster strong partnerships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Conduct IT security audits and investigations to ensure the integrity of systems.
- Provide direction, mentorship, and training to the IT team, promoting their professional development and operational success.
- Proven leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary IT technologies and management methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent software).
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including a track record of leading an IT team and developing strategic plans with successful execution.
- Comprehensive understanding of Cloud Platforms, Web-based tools, EDI, Cyber Security, and Business Continuity practices.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex ERP system solutions, with full-lifecycle ERP implementations for Finance and Operations/Supply Chain.
- 3 to 5 years of leadership experience managing mid to large-sized teams while influencing senior management and key stakeholders.
- Project or Program Management certification, and/or Lean Process Improvement (e.g., Six Sigma) certification is preferred but not required.
