Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all office operations, acting as the primary liaison with our coworking space provider.
- Manage lease agreements, contract negotiations, and coordinate office relocations as needed.
- Lead initiatives related to sustainability and track relevant metrics.
- Supervise IT equipment management, hardware leasing programs, and cybersecurity training.
- Directly oversee the Operations Coordinator, who assists with recruiting, social media, and office administration.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships, ensure compliance with insurance renewals, and manage budget allocations.
- Administer payroll processes, bonuses, and contractor payments efficiently.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding procedures, including performance reviews and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and manage benefits administration.
- Provide training to leadership on HR best practices and handle employee relations with confidentiality.
- Oversee financial processes using QuickBooks, including accounts payable and receivable, while supporting tax compliance.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives and lead award submissions for company recognition.
- Provide executive support to the CEO, including calendar management and travel arrangements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related discipline.
- 7 years of experience in operations, HR, or administrative leadership roles.
- Familiarity with employment laws, HR best practices, and financial tools such as QuickBooks and HRIS/PEO platforms.
- Strong organizational abilities, multitasking skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven capability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to adapt to diverse responsibilities.
- Experience in sustainability initiatives, with EcoVadis familiarity being advantageous.
- SHRM-CP certification is a plus, though not mandatory.
