Job Overview

We are actively seeking a highly qualified Hospice RN Executive Director to oversee the operations of our home health care branch. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless execution of administrative and leadership activities while maintaining compliance with all pertinent federal and state regulations relevant to home health care agencies. You will collaborate closely with the Governing Body, Area Vice President, and/or Area Director to foster a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the management of team performance, including conducting annual employee evaluations and establishing objectives for the upcoming year.
  • Engage in the recruitment process by interviewing and hiring top-tier staff to enhance our team.
  • Facilitate ongoing staff development through orientation, in-service education, and continuous professional learning opportunities.
  • Ensure effective supervision of staff during service hours to guarantee optimal service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Nursing Director to conduct intake interviews with new client families and participate in weekly patient preparation meetings.
  • Monitor and promote client satisfaction by overseeing surveys and addressing incident management efficiently.
  • Formulate and execute growth strategies for the branch, while analyzing financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and ensure timely reporting.
  • Strengthen relationships with referral sources in partnership with the Client Relations team.
  • Oversee the billing and collections processes to ensure accurate claims.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Current RN and CPR licenses in the state of application.
  • Preferred 2-3 years of management experience within hospice care.
