Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership: Spearhead the organization’s budgeting process and contribute to annual planning efforts that align with our strategic objectives.
- Strategic Initiatives: Recognize and implement strategies that elevate financial management and bolster expansion efforts, focusing on areas such as capital planning and process enhancement.
- Risk Management & Forecasting: Collaborate closely with the Brand and Sales Directors to develop comprehensive financial models that facilitate accurate forecasting, inventory oversight, and profitability analysis.
- Payroll Management: Partner with the HR department to align payroll processes with our growth strategies, owning payroll operations while developing compensation frameworks that reflect organizational goals.
- Financial Reporting: Coordinate with external accountants for managing financial reporting and ensuring prompt compliance with filing obligations. Establish and supervise monthly internal financial reports, including cash flow forecasts, P&L summaries, and inventory assessments.
- Financial Operations: Cultivate and manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Oversee sales forecasting and inventory management, optimizing procurement processes to support business needs. Enhance logistics by improving freight and warehouse cost management and overseeing accounts receivable functions.
- Resource Management: Lead and mentor a small finance team, including a Financial Controller and Accounts Receivable Associate, with potential for team expansion as the company grows. Engage collaboratively with the Chief of Staff, senior management, and external partners.
