We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Financial Planner & Analyst with a background in healthcare to join our esteemed finance team. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT to analyze data structures and deliver insights for financial evaluations.
  • Partner with the revenue cycle team to assess and refine operational processes.
  • Utilize SQL and Excel to extract, manipulate, and report data effectively.
  • Prepare detailed financial and operational reports, focusing on revenue and expense assessments.
  • Gather and organize both internal and external data for benchmarking and strategic development.
  • Create robust financial models that support business initiatives and streamline recurring reporting.
  • Present analytical findings on financial and operational performance to executive management.
  • Enhance analytical workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Offer insights on policies and procedures to optimize financial reporting.
  • Review financial statements for precision and contribute to the documentation of financial processes.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure adherence to established financial policies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business processes, cost center operations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with enterprise accounting software (e.g., Great Plains, QuickBooks).
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; Epic knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • A collaborative team player, eager to learn and drive process enhancements.
