Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of technicians at job sites, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and meets established quality standards.
• Guarantee the precise documentation of technician reports that encompass work performed, time invested, and relevant client details.
• Engage with clients to ascertain their needs and craft customized solutions.
• Optimize project scheduling to fulfill client expectations and deadlines.
• Provide effective leadership to inspire installation teams to achieve their objectives in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate technician performance, including appearance, communication, and adherence to company policies.
• Assist in estimating smaller projects while lending support to larger initiatives in collaboration with project teams.
• Review project developments and communicate any scheduling challenges with senior management.
• Dispatch and follow up with service technicians for after-hours repair requirements.
• Offer training covering technical skills, communication, safety protocols, and client service standards.
• Mentor and guide technicians to ensure continuous development and compliance with industry standards.
• Perform performance evaluations to foster individual and team advancement.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to review and resolve client billing discrepancies.
• Ensure the timely review and submission of timecards and expense reports.
  
  

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of fire alarm system operations and associated technologies.
• Strong understanding of NYC building codes and NFPA fire alarm regulations.
• Proficient in using hand tools, electronics, and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Capability to manage intricate projects and demonstrate advanced installation methodologies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Trade school or certification is advantageous).
• 6 months to 2 years of relevant industry experience, or 10 years of hands-on experience.
