We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead and manage a complex, high-performance project. This role serves as the pivotal contact point, overseeing various programs encompassing engineering, maintenance, safety, quality, and operations, while ensuring that exceptional service and performance standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for all project-related communications, collaborating effectively with military and civilian personnel.
- Oversee the execution of contract objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic mission goals.
- Supervise and lead a diverse workforce, including skilled trades, administrative staff, and subcontractors, fostering a culture of mentorship and collaboration.
- Ensure adherence to performance objectives, compliance with reporting requirements, and implementation of best practices.
- Manage profit and loss responsibilities, uphold environmental conservation standards, and ensure conformity with contract stipulations.
- Direct operations planning, particularly during crisis situations, such as severe weather events, ensuring effective execution.
- Engage actively in business development initiatives, nurturing strong customer relationships and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Strong leadership capabilities and mentoring experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in briefing and presentation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of base operations, including physical plant management.
- Familiarity with CMMS work order management systems and cost estimating software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience managing a unionized workforce and understanding government contracting policies.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in base support management or facility management with an annual revenue of $15M or more.
- Prior experience in a military setting is preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) certification is advantageous.
- A Master’s degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration is preferred.
