Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the clinic's primary medical services, ensuring seamless and effective operations.
- Serve as a primary contact for medical providers, offering direction and assistance as required.
- Collaborate with Primary Care Providers to coordinate and manage the care of complex patient cases.
- Partner with the Clinic Director to address clinical issues that influence patient care.
- Advocate for preventive care services such as annual wellness exams, and work to bridge quality gaps through chart assessments.
- Contribute to the ongoing implementation and enhancement of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Champion initiatives to promote the Patient-Centered Medical Home model and enhance care coordination.
- Cultivate a positive and supportive team environment to foster trust and respect among staff.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- In-depth knowledge of health center licensing and operational standards.
- Familiarity with NP/PA supervision agreements and associated regulations.
- Proficiency in modern technology and adaptability to evolving practices in healthcare settings.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the capacity to inspire trust and respect among colleagues, patients, and staff.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to operate independently when necessary.
- Medical Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active Idaho medical license, Controlled Substance License, and DEA License.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative or management positions within a primary healthcare environment, especially in underserved areas.
- Experience in a community health center is preferred.
- Ability to comply with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare background check requirements if applicable.
