We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Project Manager to lead complex and high-performance projects. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary liaison, managing various programs encompassing engineering, maintenance, safety, quality, and operational standards. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for all project-related initiatives, ensuring effective communication with military and civilian personnel, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage the execution of contract objectives and deliverables in alignment with the mission's goals, collaborating closely with government teams.
- Supervise a diverse workforce, including skilled trades and administrative staff, while providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance.
- Ensure adherence to performance objectives, compliance with contract specifications, and thorough reporting requirements.
- Hold accountability for profit and loss (P&L) metrics and environmental conservation, guaranteeing compliance with all contract obligations.
- Lead operational planning, particularly during contingency scenarios, ensuring effective execution in crisis situations.
- Engage in business development efforts, fostering robust customer relationships and identifying avenues for organizational growth.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for briefing and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Solid comprehension of base operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and airfield operations.
- Familiarity with CMMS work order management, particularly IBM Maximo, is advantageous.
- Experience with cost estimating software such as RS Means is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in base support management or facility management with $15M in annual revenue. Alternatively, 20 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Previous experience in a military setting is preferred.
- Experience managing a unionized workforce and knowledge of pertinent government contracting policies is essential.
