Key Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding patient care through the coordination of nursing services and the development of comprehensive care plans.
• Supervise and mentor a dedicated team of nursing professionals, providing guidance throughout your shift.
• Promote effective communication among patients, family members, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and promptly address challenges.
• Maintain clinical expertise by staying informed on best practices and engaging in ongoing education.
• Oversee the administration and documentation of medications and treatments, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care and conduct thorough shift handovers.
• Monitor emergency and critical care equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS upon hire.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, preferably with supervisory experience in long-term acute care or geriatric nursing.
