Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance brand reputation.
- Serve as the primary liaison for customer inquiries regarding equipment, quality, and service.
- Conduct thorough analysis of inventory usage, ensuring appropriate equipment procurement and maintaining accurate records to minimize rental expenses.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of equipment procurement and purchasing initiatives.
- Exercise sound judgment in daily operational decisions.
- Liaise with service and repair vendors to guarantee accurate information for payment and rebilling of customer damages.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all requisite documentation is included with invoices before processing.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding service orders.
- Oversee inbound and outbound inspections of all equipment, ensuring timely and precise management of damages.
- Manage repair and delivery vendors to ensure adherence to policies and industry standards.
- Promote a safe work environment by ensuring branch personnel comply with safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings.
- Foster staff development by clearly defining responsibilities and performance expectations, encouraging individual growth.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience in managing budgets and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, along with strong verbal and written communication abilities; negotiation skills are advantageous.
- Ability to effectively multitask and handle a high volume of work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general internet applications.
- Experience operating a switcher/yard jockey is beneficial, though not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience; prior exposure to semi-trailer maintenance, leasing, or fleet management is preferred and may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience in managing personnel is desirable.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
