Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations across transportation, logistics, and brokerage networks, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective service delivery.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, focusing on superior service for both customers and professional drivers.
- Optimize fleet utilization, personnel, and technological resources to maximize efficiency.
- Spearhead continuous process improvement initiatives, utilizing data and technology to refine workflows and enhance service delivery.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the achievement of business goals.
- Formulate contingency plans and manage responses to operational interruptions, guaranteeing service continuity and reliability.
- Collaborate with the Safety team to uphold compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Partner with the Maintenance team to enhance driver performance and fulfill operational expectations.
- Assume full accountability for the P&L across all operational divisions, closely observing financial performance.
- Pinpoint cost-saving opportunities and efficiency enhancements through performance metric analysis.
- Develop and sustain robust relationships with key customers and partners, driving long-term business success.
- Work alongside the Sales team to align service delivery with customer needs and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Oversee the optimization of transportation management systems (TMS) and stay abreast of industry innovations and trends.
- Actively contribute to a culture of innovation, leading improvements in operational and financial performance.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop top talent, providing training and growth opportunities to elevate team capabilities.
