Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of people and culture strategies aligned with our organizational mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance employee engagement, promote professional growth, and advance our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Oversee the entire talent lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and retention strategies aimed at attracting diverse talent.
  • Design and implement programs that cultivate a supportive and vibrant organizational culture.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, utilizing feedback to continuously enhance the workplace environment.
  • Develop and oversee learning and development programs to support professional and leadership development across the organization.
  • Champion DEI efforts to ensure an equitable workplace for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, and industry best practices, utilizing HR analytics to inform strategic decisions.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic human resource initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities, with the ability to inspire and influence across all organizational levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of DEI principles and practices.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HR technologies and data analytics to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources, emphasizing culture, talent development, and DEI.
  • Experience within the nonprofit sector or mission-driven organizations is advantageous.
