You will oversee various aspects of program execution, from strategic planning and coordination to facilitation and participant engagement, ensuring a transformative experience for all involved.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead meetings and events for diverse groups, ranging from intimate sessions to large-scale gatherings (4-100 participants).
- Oversee program logistics throughout all stages, including outreach, applications, and post-program evaluations, while managing communications and participant interactions effectively.
- Collaborate on curriculum development and initiate new program concepts, including pilot initiatives and event planning.
- Collect, analyze, and organize program data for continuous improvement and to ensure a broad spectrum of perspectives is included within program offerings.
- Maintain comprehensive records of program activities, progress, and outcomes, assisting in the preparation of essential documentation such as briefings and presentations.
- Manage program-related data within the CRM system, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
- Work with colleagues to implement new processes and tools to enhance program efficiency.
- Assist with planning logistics for both virtual and in-person events, as well as managing travel arrangements.
- Foster strategic relationships through one-on-one outreach with youth organizations and community programs.
- Mentor and support seasonal interns and program staff, guiding their contributions to the initiatives.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to balance overarching goals with intricate details.
- Self-driven and motivated, with a proven record of achieving objectives and ensuring thorough follow-through.
- Experience in budgeting, coupled with a foundational understanding of financial management.
- Proficient in project and program planning, showcasing excellent presentation and facilitation capabilities (in-person and virtual).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on actionable problem-solving.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities to cultivate relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including participants, staff, board members, and external partners.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with young individuals in educational or community-focused leadership programs.
- Knowledge of the non-partisan civic sector, with the ability to engage stakeholders meaningfully.
- Comfort with Microsoft and Google tools, customer relationship management platforms (preferably Salesforce), application platforms (Typeform, SurveyMonkey Apply), and online communication tools (Zoom, Slack, etc.).
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
