Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a variety of commercial projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, site Superintendents, and project teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage budgeting, scheduling, procurement, document control, safety, and quality assurance while overseeing multiple projects across Florida.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Review project plans and specifications, monitoring compliance with schedules.
- Assist in preparing job estimates and interpreting bid documents.
- Develop necessary subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Track project timelines to meet critical milestones.
- Manage submittals and RFI processes to facilitate timely approvals.
- Monitor project finances, ensuring adherence to budgets and maximizing project profitability.
- Work alongside project teams to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies through regular job site visits and attendance at project meetings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including Owners and Construction Managers.
- Support clients in proposal development, including specifications, scope of work, and necessary clarifications.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Experience in the construction procurement process and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of job estimating, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills for drafting reports and business correspondence.
- Highly organized, capable of coordinating projects and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with internal and external partners.
- Meticulous attention to detail with effective troubleshooting skills.
- Adaptable in work methods to ensure project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience of at least 5 years.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, especially in remote environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and construction management software, such as Procore or Sage.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification required (must be obtained within the first 60 days if not already certified).
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
- Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays as necessary.
