Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate multiple substantial manufacturing projects, including the establishment of new facilities, installation of equipment, and optimization of processes.
- Offer Project Management Office (PMO) support throughout various business units to enhance operational efficiency and promote cost-reduction strategies.
- Formulate comprehensive project plans encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to guarantee successful outcomes.
- Monitor project performance utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver analytical reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Recognize potential risks, devise mitigation strategies, and proactively manage any disruptions.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality assurance, supply chain, and leadership teams to outline project requirements and ensure alignment.
- Work with plant leaders to verify cost savings and achieve tangible business improvements.
- Standardize project management methodologies, tools, and processes to boost effectiveness and uniformity across the organization.
- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout all projects.
- Enhance project management capabilities by establishing comprehensive training programs.
- Foster a collaborative environment, promoting teamwork in both remote and in-person settings.
- A Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or Business Management (a Master's degree or MBA is preferred).
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or demonstrable experience in leading continuous improvement projects within manufacturing settings.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience overseeing multiple projects and offering PMO support for enterprise-level initiatives.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, supply chain processes, and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, MS SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in developing and standardizing project management methodologies is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
- Willingness to travel within Mexico and the United States, with flexibility for short-notice travel and extended stays as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- PMP certification or substantial experience in continuous improvement projects is necessary.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in project management is essential.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
