Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and clinical guidance to a team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and mental health professionals.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to evaluate staffing requirements and participate in recruitment initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and documentation protocols.
- Keep abreast of developments in mental health trends and best practices.
- Partner with executive leadership to establish and achieve strategic program goals.
- Advocate for clinical staff needs during leadership discussions.
- Facilitate effective communication among therapists, clinicians, and administrative teams.
- Oversee the onboarding and professional development of new clinicians, ensuring a seamless integration.
- Monitor clinician morale and implement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction.

- Board Certification in Psychiatry (BC/BE required).
- Active medical license in Virginia and/or Maryland (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA and controlled substance licenses for prescribing.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
