We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Program Director/QMHP to lead our exceptional team of clinicians and counselors. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of top-notch services to individuals, while overseeing the development of service plans, documentation, and case management. Your leadership will foster professional growth and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to Day Treatment Clinicians and Counselors, ensuring the provision of outstanding counseling services and effective treatment supervisions.
- Oversee the maintenance of precise and comprehensive documentation for case narratives, service plans, and client discharges.
- Facilitate in-service training for Clinicians and Counselors, and recommend additional professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Director to formulate and implement effective policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for clinical improvement and potential new services within the team.
- Conduct regular site and school visits to evaluate counselors’ adherence to service plan requirements.
- Monitor and support the execution and development of service plans by clinicians.
- Ensure all staff members maintain current certifications and requisite training.
- Approve and conduct assessments in the absence of the Clinician.
- Extensive knowledge of Day Treatment procedures and practices.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in training methodologies and performance evaluations.
- Familiarity with creating and implementing individualized service plans.
- Understanding of standards of conduct and behavioral management principles.
- Skilled in assessment tools and effective follow-up strategies.
- Knowledge of Medicaid regulations, guidelines, and Child Protective Service standards.
- Experience within the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.
- A Master's Degree in Human Services or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three years of experience providing casework services to children and families.
- A valid professional therapist or social worker license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a necessity.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and registry check by the Department of Social Services.
- Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Behavior Management.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and automobile insurance.
