We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Outside Sales - Product Specialist to join our esteemed team. This position is perfectly suited for individuals who thrive on building new relationships and excel in sales within the recreation industry. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, gaining insight into their needs to offer customized solutions that result in unforgettable experiences for their customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through site visits, phone outreach, and email communication.
  • Manage incoming sales inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up through phone calls, email correspondence, and virtual meetings.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with primary decision-makers.
  • Conduct comprehensive discovery discussions to fully understand client requirements.
  • Deliver proposals in-person, during virtual meetings, and over the phone.
  • Work collaboratively with inside sales, management, and other stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Track sales metrics and progress utilizing CRM software.
  • Engage in team meetings, participate in company events, and attend industry trade shows.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Required Skills

  • A proactive approach to new business development with a focus on recreation or hospitality sales.
  • Strong self-motivation combined with excellent organizational abilities and follow-through.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness and capability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in outside B2B sales, account management, or business development.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality and/or recreation sector.
  • Proven experience with consultative, needs-based sales methodologies in a B2B setting.

Education Requirements

  • A degree or relevant coursework in Sales, Business, Marketing, Communications, or Hospitality is preferred.
