Outside B2B Recreation Industry Sales - Recreation Specialist (Remote - Southeastern Region)

Location: Remote with travel (Territory: FL, GA, SC, NC, AL)

Reports To: VP of Product Sales

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Outside Sales - Recreation Specialist to enhance our footprint in the recreation sector. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for building relationships and a knack for developing new business opportunities. The position allows for remote work, with required travel within the Southeastern territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through site visits, phone outreach, and emails.
  • Manage incoming sales inquiries and follow up through various communication methods.
  • Cultivate and sustain constructive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct on-site interactions and virtual meetings to assess client requirements.
  • Present tailored proposals, leveraging both in-person and digital communication.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including inside sales and management.
  • Maintain precise sales records and monitor performance using CRM tools.
  • Attend relevant industry events, trade shows, and company gatherings as necessary.
  • Accomplish additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in outside B2B sales, account management, or business development.
  • Experience in the recreation or hospitality sector is highly desirable.
  • Track record of success in consultative, needs-based sales within a B2B context.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant coursework in Sales, Business, Marketing, Communications, or Hospitality.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, Google Earth, and presentation tools such as PowerPoint.
  • Strong proficiency in email communication, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
