Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Accounting & Human Resources Specialist to be a part of our Operations team in a fully remote capacity. This role is perfect for a professional who is passionate about both accounting and human resources and is eager to contribute to the seamless operation of internal processes while advancing their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the processing of company bills and expenses on a weekly basis via a third-party payment system.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in the semi-monthly payroll processing, which includes data entry and thorough reconciliation.
  • Support payroll modifications, encompassing earnings adjustments, deductions, and direct deposits.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and audits of monthly benefit invoices for precision.
  • Aid in year-end processes and compile the necessary documentation for external audits.
  • Generate reports for the HR, Accounting, and leadership teams as required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal accounting.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with outstanding organizational abilities.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset that thrives in a team environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and sound judgment.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity and QuickBooks will be considered advantageous.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of \(75,000 to \)95,000 with annual merit increases.
  • Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
  • A structured 35-hour workweek during non-busy seasons.

Remote Work Requirements

To ensure your success in a remote work setting, a reliable internet connection is essential. We require a minimum download speed of 200 Mbps and an upload speed of 20 Mbps, along with a secure, password-protected Wi-Fi network.
