This role requires leading AutoCAD and Revit operations, ensuring the effective coordination of project information models while actively collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete life cycle of BIM projects, from initial concept to final implementation.
- Manage and adjust project models, identifying and resolving conflicts prior to installation.
- Conduct field surveys nationwide to guarantee precise modeling practices.
- Collaborate directly with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure the timely submission of coordination drawings, shop drawings, and mechanical diagrams.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings, contributing to the creation of essential design production documents.
- Assist the team with drafting, construction drawings, and technical specifications utilizing AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with experience in MEP multi-disciplinary Revit coordination.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite (or Google Workspace), Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective collaboration in a professional environment.
- An Associate's degree or relevant experience in drafting, BIM coordination, or design production.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the U.S. as required.
- Employment may involve verification of previous work experience, educational background, criminal history, and driving record. Certain projects may necessitate access to secure government facilities.
