Key Responsibilities
- Manage a manageable caseload for home studies and post-release services.
- Supervise and guide staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and deadlines.
- Oversee Home Study and PRS Level III cases, ensuring exceptional outcomes.
- Provide direction on trauma-informed crisis intervention strategies and connect families to essential services.
- Assess staff recommendations regarding sponsor suitability and safety, ensuring ongoing human trafficking screenings.
- Assist in coordinating interviews, home visits, and managing staff logistics and caseloads.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with program standards.
- Report significant incidents or concerns to relevant stakeholders, acting as a mandated reporter for abuse or neglect.
- Engage in training and meetings to enhance the program’s effectiveness.
- Travel as needed to deliver services and meet with staff across various locations.
- Undertake additional duties to support program requirements.
- Supervisory experience and a valid clinical supervision license.
- Understanding of family preservation, trauma-informed care, and relevant child welfare policies.
- Experience with home studies, post-release services, and working with immigrant populations.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel for in-person visits as needed.
- A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), psychology, sociology, or a related behavioral science field, along with a minimum of 2 years of direct service experience; or a bachelor's degree in a related field with 6 years of clinical experience.
- Proven supervisory experience and possession of a valid clinical supervision license.
