Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative within our Sales & Service team, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding service to both internal and external clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional service to customers and supporting Sales & Service teams.
- Efficiently managing inbound customer inquiries and calls with professionalism.
- Accurately processing and coordinating sales orders, parts shipments, and machine transactions.
- Troubleshooting order discrepancies in collaboration with customers and various internal teams.
- Preparing updates and reports regarding sales orders and backorders for stakeholders.
- Managing the Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) process and issuing service parts credits.
- Collaborating with traffic teams to navigate international shipping documentation.
- Tracking and verifying freight costs while resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinating the domestic and international movement of machines and parts.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- 3-5 years of experience in customer service or sales, with a focus on order processing.
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, with JD Edwards experience being advantageous.
- Familiarity with tools such as DocuSign and Salesforce.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and a solid understanding of international trade and incoterms.
- Knowledge of export/import regulations and customs documentation.
- Experience with shipping software and data entry systems.
- A track record of identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
