Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative specializing in Logistic Support, you will play a crucial role within our Sales & Service team, ensuring outstanding service delivery for both internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional service to customers and the Sales & Service teams.
  • Efficiently managing incoming customer service calls and inquiries with professionalism.
  • Accurately processing and coordinating sales orders, parts shipments, and machine sales.
  • Troubleshooting order discrepancies in collaboration with customers, service personnel, and engineering teams.
  • Offering timely updates and reports on sales orders, budgets, and backorders to relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing the return goods process (RGA) and issuing service parts credits.
  • Collaborating with traffic teams and customers to handle international shipping documentation.
  • Tracking and verifying freight costs, addressing discrepancies with vendors and management.
  • Coordinating the domestic and international movement of machines and parts.

Required Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service or Sales, particularly in order processing.
  • An associate degree in Business is preferred.
  • Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems; familiarity with JD Edwards is advantageous.
  • Experience with DocuSign and Salesforce.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and a strong understanding of international trade procedures and incoterms.
  • Knowledge of export/import documentation and customs regulations.
  • Familiarity with shipping software and data entry systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a Customer Service or Sales capacity, with a focus on order processing.
  • An associate degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
