Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative specializing in Logistic Support, you will play a crucial role within our Sales & Service team, ensuring outstanding service delivery for both internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional service to customers and the Sales & Service teams.
- Efficiently managing incoming customer service calls and inquiries with professionalism.
- Accurately processing and coordinating sales orders, parts shipments, and machine sales.
- Troubleshooting order discrepancies in collaboration with customers, service personnel, and engineering teams.
- Offering timely updates and reports on sales orders, budgets, and backorders to relevant stakeholders.
- Managing the return goods process (RGA) and issuing service parts credits.
- Collaborating with traffic teams and customers to handle international shipping documentation.
- Tracking and verifying freight costs, addressing discrepancies with vendors and management.
- Coordinating the domestic and international movement of machines and parts.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service or Sales, particularly in order processing.
- An associate degree in Business is preferred.
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems; familiarity with JD Edwards is advantageous.
- Experience with DocuSign and Salesforce.
- Advanced skills in Excel and a strong understanding of international trade procedures and incoterms.
- Knowledge of export/import documentation and customs regulations.
- Familiarity with shipping software and data entry systems.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
