Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects through their entire lifecycle, aligning objectives with both client and organizational goals.
- Deliver engineering services, including the customization of board enablement and the deployment of Ubuntu images.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to craft and implement detailed project statements of work.
- Develop and uphold project-specific schedules and plans, securing client approval for timelines and deliverables.
- Guarantee on-time and within-budget project delivery while maintaining project scope.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, facilitating prompt technical issue resolution.
- Maintain consistent and transparent communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee critical third-party deliverables, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Keep management apprised of project progress and potential challenges.
- Identify and advocate for custom engineering requests outside existing agreements.
- Adapt working hours to support various time zones and global project needs.
- Skillfully manage multiple projects concurrently, balancing competing priorities.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, particularly within engineering services, and adeptness at leading cross-functional teams.
- Proven history of managing projects with global teams across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and the open-source software landscape, complemented by insights into computer architecture.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Natural leadership abilities, with a track record of fostering successful relationships with both internal teams and demanding clients.
- PMP/PMI or PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification is advantageous.
- Willingness to accommodate non-standard hours for global project support.
- Ability to travel up to four times annually for internal events.
