Key Responsibilities
- Account Satisfaction & Relationship Management: Establish and sustain robust, long-term relationships with OEMs, contract manufacturers, and resellers. Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain clear communication regarding new products and capabilities.
- Sales Growth & Revenue Generation: Propel profitable growth by expanding sales within existing accounts, identifying and pursuing new bid opportunities, and implementing cross-selling strategies.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Partner closely with applications, design, and methods teams to guarantee that filter designs align with customer requirements and are cost-effective. Serve as a liaison between clients and key internal departments, addressing any product or service issues.
- Market Expansion & Lead Generation: Proactively seek new leads and investigate new markets to facilitate continuous business growth. Engage in market research and support the creation of promotional materials, marketing plans, and new product developments.
- Sales Strategy & Goal Setting: Contribute to the development of sales strategies, establish goals, and conduct competitive benchmarking with the sales team.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of technical sales or support experience within the optics or a comparable technical sector.
- Demonstrated success in business growth and achieving sales objectives.
- Strong self-management capabilities and the ability to work independently while remaining results-focused.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
- Willingness to travel as necessitated by the role.
- Familiarity with filter manufacturing, design, and technologies, particularly for applications such as fluorescent imaging.
- Bilingual proficiency in German, Japanese, and/or Mandarin is advantageous.
