Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Year-End Tax Provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including Book-to-Tax calculations, deferred tax assets/liabilities, valuation allowances, and return-to-provision adjustments.
- Oversee Tax Estimates & Extensions by preparing and reviewing quarterly estimates and extensions for federal and state returns.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of corporate federal and state income tax returns as well as international information returns.
- Manage indirect tax reporting, including computations of use tax prepared by the accounting team.
- Provide support during tax audits and controversies by analyzing information requests and collaborating on audit resolutions.
- Conduct technical research on complex tax issues and draft memorandums to establish appropriate tax treatments.
- Participate in mergers, acquisitions, and special projects such as R&D tax credits and transfer pricing studies.
- Drive enhancements in tax technology and automation to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate across departments to fortify tax-related initiatives involving payroll, finance, and external consulting partners.
- Advise executive leadership on tax matters and relevant legislative updates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Advanced Degree preferred).
- CPA certification is mandatory.
- 4-5 years of experience in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in public accounting.
- Proficient in federal and state corporate income tax compliance and ASC 740 tax provisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders across varied levels.
- Integrity, sound judgment, and a dedication to continuous improvement and learning.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; Advanced Degree preferred.
- CPA certification is required.
- A solid background of 4-5 years in accounting, including at least 3 years in public accounting.
- Experience in federal and state corporate income tax compliance and ASC 740 tax provisions.

- Competitive Salary Range: \(124,000 - \)148,000 annually.
