Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven professional for the position of Director of Store Operations. In this pivotal role, you will play an essential part in enhancing guest satisfaction while expertly managing complex operations within a bustling environment. Your leadership will guide a diverse team towards achieving key business objectives while closely collaborating with senior management to develop strategies that bolster sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure store operations are aligned with the overall strategic goals of the organization.
  • Oversee daily operations, maintaining high standards for guest service, financial performance, and compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Lead a multi-departmental team, effectively coordinating with Marketing, Finance, and HR to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage labor costs, inventory, pricing, and merchandising to optimize overall store performance.
  • Develop, track, and maintain the store's budget, implementing cost control measures while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to gauge success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize sales data, guest feedback, and operational metrics to inform decision-making processes.
  • Encourage a culture of collaboration and transparent communication among leadership.
  • Act as the key point of contact for addressing operational challenges.
  • Inspire and motivate teams by setting clear expectations and exemplifying strong leadership.
  • Partner with HR to facilitate recruitment, training, and developmental initiatives for team members, encompassing performance evaluations and terminations.
  • Serve as the store's representative in the community, ensuring a positive image and experience for guests.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team-building capabilities.
  • Advanced problem-solving, organizational, and business management skills.
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
  • A genuine passion for Italian cuisine and hospitality is essential.
  • Previous experience with Italian cuisine and wine is highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of 8 years of management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant and/or retail setting.
