Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial leadership through effective management of the company's budgeting process and annual planning, aligning with strategic business goals.
- Identify and execute initiatives aimed at enhancing financial management and supporting expansion endeavors, focusing on capital planning, corporate structure, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with Brand & Sales Directors to develop financial models that enable accurate forecasting, inventory management, and profitability.
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure payroll processes are in harmony with growth strategies and develop compensation models that align with company objectives.
- Oversee collaboration with external accountants to manage financial reporting and guarantee timely filings.
- Establish and manage monthly internal financial reporting processes, including cash flow projections, P&L summaries, and inventory oversight.
- Conduct monthly management reviews with a focus on critical financial metrics, ensuring prompt actions are taken to address areas needing improvement.
- Manage financial relationships with third-party vendors, securing favorable terms and fostering strong partnerships.
- Supervise sales planning, forecasting, and inventory management, ensuring procurement processes are efficient and supplier relationships remain strong.
- Optimize logistics by enhancing inventory management, space utilization, and automation practices.
- Oversee accounts receivable operations and work with sales to resolve payment challenges and improve cash flow.
- Lead and mentor a small team, including a Financial Controller and Accounts Receivable Associate, with potential for team expansion as the company grows.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff, management team, owners, and external financial partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven history of establishing scalable and repeatable financial processes.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with an ownership mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in finance, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
