- Lead Generation: Proactively conduct cold calls and employ varied outreach strategies to establish connections with prospective clients.
- Sales Material Development: Craft engaging sales presentations, brochures, product data sheets, and assorted marketing materials.
- Customer Database Administration: Sustain precise records of customer interactions and sales trends, with a focus on aiding customers in rebate incentive applications.
- Calendar Management: Skillfully organize the VP’s schedule, ensuring efficient coordination of meetings and appointments.
- Meeting Coordination: Manage logistics for meetings, establishing agendas, and guaranteeing smooth operations.
- Correspondence Management: Oversee the VP’s communication, handling emails and other channels with professionalism.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange and manage travel plans for the VP as required.
- Customer Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, delivering prompt and informed responses.
- Order Processing Assistance: Support clients with their orders, ensuring accuracy in processing and tracking.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively tackle and resolve customer concerns, upholding the highest service standards.
- Rebate Application Guidance: Assist customers with navigating the rebate application processes for our offerings.
- Invoice and Payment Oversight: Generate accurate invoices, prepare packing slips for shipments, and monitor incoming payments while following up on outstanding invoices.
- Customer Relationship Management: Engage with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and nurture ongoing relationships, actively seeking feedback to enhance service quality and explore opportunities for upselling and referrals.
- Prior experience in sales support or administrative roles, ideally within the lighting industry.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities with the skill to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and various office software.
- A customer-centric mindset paired with robust problem-solving skills.
- Relevant experience in sales support or administrative functions is required, particularly in the lighting industry.
- An Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
