Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently process and manage cash transactions
- Accurately maintain and update the general ledger
- Ensure timely completion of month-end close activities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for correctness
- Reconcile accounts payable and manage accruals
- Prepare and post journal entries for financial transactions
- Utilize accounting software, including Workday Financials, for daily operations
- Lead and manage team operations as needed
- Proficiency in month-end close processes
- Strong experience in financial reporting and statement preparation
- Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger operations
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines
- High integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a CPA candidate
