The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in managing Florida Bodily Injury Defense cases, with specific expertise in areas including motor vehicle accidents, trucking incidents, premises liability, and general liability claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze new case files assigned by adjusters
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and responses
- Manage written discovery and respond to discovery requests
- Analyze medical records and bills to determine damages
- Prepare for and attend depositions, court hearings, and mediations
- Participate actively in trial preparation, including expert witness depositions
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing comprehensive status updates
- Ensure timely and accurate billing for all completed tasks
- 5 years of extensive experience in Florida Bodily Injury Defense litigation, with a strong emphasis on trial preparation
- Proficient in handling motor vehicle accidents, trucking, premises liability, and general liability cases
- In-depth understanding of billable hours, legal documentation, and courtroom protocols
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interactions
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution
- Prior experience with trial preparation is highly desirable
- Strong grasp of the litigation process, with the capability to manage high-volume caseloads
- Experience in preparing for and conducting expert witness depositions is an advantage
