Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze new case files assigned by adjusters.
- Draft various legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
- Manage discovery processes by issuing and responding to written inquiries.
- Review medical documentation and bills for damage assessment.
- Prepare for and execute depositions, including expert witness preparation.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials as required.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and detailed status reports.
- Prepare and present motions in court.
- Accurately bill hours while adhering to billable time guidelines.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Florida Bodily Injury Defense litigation.
- Proficient in trial preparation, depositions, and courtroom procedures.
- Familiarity with preparing and managing expert witness depositions.
- Strong work ethic and a results-oriented approach.
- Proven ability to meet and manage billable hour expectations.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Florida Bodily Injury Defense litigation.
